My name is Michael Clopton and I am a New York City-based personal trainer. As fitness, training and athletics have always been a huge part of my life, my decision to enter the personal training field was an easy one. This passion has allowed me to thrive and excel in the personal training and fitness industry for over 10 years. I began my career in health and fitness in some of New York’s elite fitness clubs, including Reebok, the New York Health and Racquet Club, and Equinox Fitness. During this tenure I honed my skills as a trainer by servicing clients from a myriad of populations, ranging from pre-post natal to Neuromuscular Disorders and post-rehabilitation
My focus is on innovative training, as well as transforming the body AND mind. All of my programs are custom designed and combine functional and traditional methods for working the body. I combine all of these disciplines into a proprietary system that addresses the entire body.
Additionally, I hold the following certifications: NASM-CPT, NASM-PES, NASM-FNS, NASM- WLS, ISSA, Pre- and Post-natal, SBT – Suspended Body Weight Training, Kettlebell and TRX.
